The Burriana City Council has initiated the third and final phase of the Juan Bautista Sanmartín avenue remodeling project, with an investment of 123,750.12 euros.

The Burriana City Council has commenced the works for the third and final phase of the remodeling project for Juan Bautista Sanmartín avenue. These actions, carried out by Pavasal Empresa Constructora, S.A., involve an investment of 123,750.12 euros (VAT included) to transform this urban axis into a more modern, safe, and accessible space. The works are expected to take approximately three months.
The intervention places a special emphasis on improving urban mobility and sustainability. A new bike lane will be implemented along the entire avenue. The works also include the resurfacing of the roadway, repair of deteriorated sidewalks, elimination of architectural barriers through adapted ramps and accessible pedestrian crossings, and the reorganization of space to create new parking spots.
With this final phase, the comprehensive transformation of a key urban artery for the capital of La Plana Baixa is completed, an area that had not received significant investments in the last 35 years. The first two phases, already concluded, represented a joint investment of over 164,000 euros, improving accessibility between San Blas square and El Calvari street, adding 26 parallel parking spaces, and integrating new trees as part of the urban renaturalization plan.

"With the start of these works, we aim to finalize the comprehensive renovation of Juan Bautista Sanmartín avenue, decisively opting for cleaner and safer mobility thanks to the implementation of the new bike lane."
