Eleven Technological Institutes, members of REDIT, the Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community, participated in the Impacta I+D+i 2026 event. The conference, held on September 22, 2026, at the Santiago Grisolía Auditorium in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, highlighted the importance of research, cooperation between companies, technological centers, and public administrations, as well as funding from European funds.
The event, organized by the General Directorate of European Funds and IVACE+i, served as a platform to understand how collaboration between technological institutes and companies drives the development of new R&D&I projects and knowledge transfer to the business sector, generating real impact.
The Technological Center presented the I5CER project, developed in collaboration with the IBV, which falls under Industry 5.0 and focuses on people's well-being in work environments within the ceramic sector and other industries. Additionally, the AVANTCER3D project demonstrator was showcased, featuring parts produced in the additive manufacturing or 3D laboratory for advanced applications in filtration, aerospace engineering, aeronautics, automotive, and jewelry.
Authorities present at the event included Rocío Pont (General Directorate of European Funds of the GVA), Cristina Peña (General Directorate of European Funds of the Ministry of Finance), and Diego Villalba (representative of the European Commission).
A round table was held, moderated by Fernando Saludes, president of REDIT, with the participation of Jordi Díaz (CEO of Play & Go), José Ramón Cerezpo (technical director of UNECOL ADHESIVE IDEAS), and Juan Vicente Bono (founder of INTEGRA SYNERGY SYSTEMS and president of the Technological Center). They emphasized the role of technological centers as "problem solvers," the importance of EU funding, and public-private collaboration. Juan Vicente Bono stressed that the alliance with ITC is essential for navigating the complexity of the current market, opening new markets, and expanding companies internationally.
The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, and Commerce, Marián Cano, closed Impacta I+D+i 2026, emphasizing how applied R&D contributes to developing solutions with an impact on people and business competitiveness.
