The Grau Mayor's Office will move its public services to Pintor Porcar Square starting Tuesday, October 6th, due to renovation works at its usual building on Buenavista promenade.

The deputy mayor of Grau, Ester Giner, announced that due to the start of renovation works at the Grau Mayor's Office, public services will be relocated to Pintor Porcar Square from Tuesday, October 6th. The services will operate from the local police sub-station located in that square.
Giner emphasized that this is a temporary move, intended to last throughout the renovation of the Buenavista promenade building, ensuring continued quality service for the residents of Grau. She assured that citizens can carry out their usual procedures without interruption.
Public services will be available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 7 PM. Appointments can be booked via the municipal website, with a daily limit for walk-in services between 9 AM and 11 AM. Routine procedures such as registrations, bus passes, digital certificates, general registry, and the single point of contact will continue normally. Urban planning information for the Grau and Marjalería areas will also be available by appointment on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The renovation project involves an investment of 295,000 euros, including VAT, with a six-month execution period. This will result in a more modern, accessible, and updated facility for Grau's residents. The administration led by Mayor Begoña Carrasco is fulfilling its commitment to revitalize the Mayor's Office as a community hub.
The new design will optimize the ground floor for improved citizen service, reorganizing spaces and services to include a reception, waiting area, and dedicated areas for the Local Police and municipal brigades. The project will also incorporate over 140 m² of porcelain flooring and 160 m² of ceramic wall tiling, supporting the local ceramic industry. Additionally, it will feature adapted restrooms, conditioning of the interior patio, rear facade sanitation, painting and improvement of the main facade, renewal of sewage and plumbing networks, adaptation of evacuation exits, and new air conditioning systems.
