The 25 arrests were made for alleged offenses against property, assault on law enforcement officers, outstanding judicial warrants, drug trafficking, and lesiones. Some of these actions stemmed from preventive checks, while others responded to incident reports.
To date, 21 known offenses have been recorded, a figure that may increase as other units receive further national complaints linked to the festival. Additionally, 977 administrative fines were issued, primarily for violations of the Organic Law on the Protection of Public Security.
Among the most common administrative sanctions are drug consumption or possession in public areas, possession of prohibited weapons, and disobedience to officers. These behaviors were detected during access controls, patrols in the camping area, and preventive sweeps around Benicàssim.
Fines were also processed for unauthorized street vending near the venue, as well as for starting fires in parks and gardens, a practice closely monitored due to fire risk. Fines were issued for camping in unauthorized areas and for organizing illegal parties.
The operation's final tally, active until the festival's conclusion, also includes tobacco smuggling offenses. The objective was to reduce risks for attendees and residents, and to prevent the spread of illegal activities associated with the event.
