The Governing Council of the Castellón Tourism Board has approved a new communication and tourism promotion service contract worth €75,000 per year, aiming to strengthen the city's brand and improve its positioning in national and international markets.

The decision, made during an extraordinary session, includes developing campaigns to increase Castellón's visibility as a destination and highlight its main attractions. These actions will involve promoting the city at strategic tourism fairs, such as FITUR 2027, to solidify its presence among professionals and potential visitors.
To facilitate this initiative, the Governing Council has approved submitting the procurement file for this service, with an annual budget of €75,000, to the Local Government Board.
Furthermore, the convening of the ordinary session of the Municipal Tourism Board's General Assembly, scheduled for November 24, 2026, has been approved. This meeting will analyze the sector's evolution and gather needs and proposals from its representatives.
Additionally, the contract for the provision of assembly and disassembly services for gastronomic infrastructure intended for culinary demonstrations (showcookings) and competitions has been awarded to the company Mediterránea de Mantenimiento y Contratas, SLU. This service will ensure the necessary technical and material resources are available for organizing activities related to promoting local gastronomy.
