During the 2026-2027 academic year, the Active and Healthy Living Senior Center, located at number 4 Antonio Maura street, will host the new program for the UNED Senior Classroom of Castelló. This municipal space takes over from the Casal Jove del Grau, where this educational initiative for individuals over 55 years old was first established.
The enrollment period will begin on September 14th. Registrations can be completed at the Seniors' Office, located in Jutge Borrull square, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

The Councillor for Seniors, Clara Adsuara, highlighted that the new center will provide an improved environment for students. She emphasized the commitment to continue expanding opportunities for education and social interaction, as learning and acquiring new knowledge helps keep the mind active, strengthens social relationships, and enhances the well-being of older adults.

The academic offerings for the new course will include subjects such as Philosophy, Artificial Intelligence, Yoga, Art History, and Communication, alongside other courses and activities that will be part of the complete program.
The UNED Senior Classroom offers flexible education, adapted to the interests of older adults, without prior exams or academic requirements. Its purpose is to foster lifelong learning, social participation, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
Pre-registration is now open. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
