The new Espai Labora, which has received an autonomous investment of over 1 million euros, covers 800 square meters to serve an estimated population of 15,000 people. This infrastructure strengthens labor orientation and prospecting services in the capital of La Plana.
According to official data, the number of unemployed people in the city currently stands at 11,139, representing a decrease of nearly 3% compared to the previous year. At the same time, the labor market has set a historic record for Social Security affiliations, exceeding 105,000 people last May.
The collaboration between the Castellón City Council and the Generalitat Valenciana includes a 3.8 million euro budget for training and insertion programs. These initiatives focus particularly on groups with greater difficulties accessing the market, such as those under 30, women over 45, and people at risk of social exclusion.
In addition, the 'Large Cities' Employment Plan, endowed with 240,000 euros in autonomous funding, has helped 276 people and carried out dozens of prospecting services with local companies, consolidating the 'Tetuán XIV' Municipal Training Center as a benchmark in the management of active employment policies.
