Environmental information teams are visiting different neighborhoods to answer questions about current regulations. The main goal is to encourage responsible use of personal mobility vehicles (PMVs), such as electric scooters and bicycles, ensuring compliance with road safety rules.
The campaign, which began last May, has now been expanded in September to reach school areas. Informers are explaining details about the Low Emission Zone and traffic rules on the more than 90 kilometers of bike lanes existing in the municipality.
Municipal regulations set the minimum age for riding electric scooters at 15 and mandate the use of a helmet, civil liability insurance, and a homologated circulation certificate. Furthermore, riding on sidewalks, exceeding 25 kilometers per hour, or riding under the influence of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
