Councilor Juan Carlos Redondo visited the renovation works of Castellón's Collection Office, set to open before the end of the first fortnight of October.

The Councilor for Economic Impulse, Employment, and Human Capital, Juan Carlos Redondo, has supervised the integral renovation works of the Collection Office of the Castellón City Council, located on Gobernador street. These works are being carried out concurrently with the implementation of a new IT tool for collection.
Redondo highlighted that the reform addresses the need to improve the service provided to residents, optimizing space organization to increase speed and efficiency in attention, thereby avoiding the queues that previously occurred, even on the street.
The initiative aims to offer more comfortable, agile, and efficient attention, demonstrating the City Council's commitment to continuously improving public services. The government team expects the new Collection Office to be operational before the end of the first fortnight of October.
The waiting area has been substantially expanded, almost doubling the previous space, to prevent queues outside. Furthermore, the new IT tool will allow more procedures to be carried out through the Electronic Office, reducing the need for in-person visits.
The councilor thanked the contracting company for carrying out the works without interrupting the service. He emphasized that the involved companies are from Castellón and that local ceramic materials have been used, as part of the municipal commitment.
