The event, organized by the group Canya de Sucre with the collaboration of the Benicàssim City Council, brings together fans and visitors to enjoy a musical genre closely linked to the maritime history of the Mediterranean.
The program includes performances by Canya de Sucre, Grills de la Nit, and Som de l'Havana. These groups will offer a journey through representative pieces of the traditional repertoire, highlighting the fusion between Caribbean rhythms and popular tradition.
As is customary, the evening will conclude with a joint performance by the three groups. The musicians will offer songs such as La Bella Lola, La Paloma, and the habanera Benicàssim, inviting the audience to participate in the closing of the event.
The festival, which spans nearly four decades of history, maintains its usual format by combining individual and collective performances. This event has become a space for coexistence that keeps the tradition of habaneras alive on the Valencian coast.
