The day combined cultural, sports, and leisure activities with a shared lunch in the Parque de los Eucaliptos, designed to foster encounters and strengthen bonds among center members. Participants divided into groups for a guided tour of the Open-Air Museum Villa Romana de l’Albir, a walk along the promenade, or a practical golf session at the Albir golf course.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Marisa Cortés, the Councilor for Relations with Collectives and Resident Clubs, Patrick de Meirsman, and the Councilor for Sports, José Plaza, who joined to accompany the attendees.
“"This type of gathering allows us to share time, experiences, and activities outside the classroom."
Marisa Cortés highlighted the fundamental work of Doble Amor in providing care and development opportunities for individuals with functional diversity, working towards their autonomy, participation, and social inclusion. The councilor added that the City Council wishes to recognize and support the efforts of the professionals, families, and management, enjoying moments of coexistence together.
The Doble Amor Center carries out significant work in attending to and supporting individuals with functional diversity, aiming to improve their quality of life, promote autonomy, and facilitate their social integration. The day served to foster relationships between students and professionals and to enjoy the cultural, natural, and sports resources offered by l’Alfàs del Pi.
