This action, promoted by the Marina Baixa Regional Equality Council, aims to encourage an equitable distribution of domestic obligations and the mental load involved in managing a household. The project focuses on the care of minors, the elderly, and pets, with the goal of reducing the care gap that still falls largely on women.
The campaign uses the visual and symbolic language of sports to convey the importance of collaboration in the private sphere. Under the slogan Juego Limpio, messages are spread such as that taking care of the house is a team sport and that co-responsibility can also be trained.
The initiative was presented last May 2026, coinciding with the celebration of the International Day of Families, and is supported by the local Department of Social Services and Equality.
