The event, organized by the Association of Relatives and Friends of Residencia Santa Marta and the City Council, will take place in the center's gardens. Mayor Marcos Zaragoza highlighted the center's work with the elderly, stating that "with this charity fair, we can contribute and enhance all their work and dedication to the users".
The councilor for Social Services and Equality, Maite Sánchez, noted that relatives and friends have revived this event and were responsible, along with the users, for preparing the decorations and organizing the activity.
The charity event will begin at 8:00 PM. Tickets are priced symbolically at 25 euros, which includes an appetizer, a drink, and a musical performance. There will also be a raffle with products donated by local businesses.
Tickets can now be purchased at the Residencia Santa Marta itself or at businesses such as Flors i Fulles, Regals Begoña, Carmina, Vetes i Fils, and Farmacia C/Colón.
Mayor Marcos Zaragoza invited all citizens to participate in this initiative, calling it "a way to support and accompany the center and give visibility to our elders," adding that "it will be a special day to demonstrate, once again, that solidarity is the municipality's best driving force".
