The Marina Baixa Equality Council has launched the summer campaign ‘Me resbala’, which will use social media to combat physical stereotypes and celebrate body diversity.

The regional campaign, titled ‘Me resbala’ (It slides off me), aims to combat physical stereotypes and promote the appreciation of body diversity among citizens.
The initiative will be disseminated primarily through social media and was officially presented with the presence of representatives from the Equality Departments of various municipalities in the region, including Finestrat, Benidorm, La Vila Joiosa, Altea, L’Alfàs del Pi, La Nucía, and Polop, as well as the Social Services Association of Marina Baixa.
The central message of the campaign encourages women to enjoy the summer without worrying about external opinions, emphasizing that the body is not a fleeting trend nor does it need to fit any mold. It urges self-love freely and without filters.

"This summer, let the only thing sticking to you be the sand, because criticism… IT SLIDES OFF ME! Your body is not a passing fad nor does it have to fit any mold. Love yourself freely, love yourself without filters."
