Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th, at 10 PM, the Plaza del Sol in La Nucia will host the free screening of The Minecraft Movie. This event is part of the 2026 Summer Family Cinema cycle, which features films under the stars during summer nights, attracting audiences of all ages.
The Department of Culture has scheduled a total of 12 films for this cycle, which began on July 14th and will conclude on August 27th. The screenings are free and take place outdoors, on Tuesdays at the Plaza del Sol and on Thursdays at the Plaça dels Músics. Further information is available on the culturalanucia.com website.
The Minecraft Movie will be the seventh screening in the cycle. The plot follows four misfits who are transported through a mysterious portal to a cubic, imaginative world where they must master it and protect it from creatures like Piglins and Zombies. With the help of an unexpected expert crafter, Steve, they embark on a magical quest that will challenge their boldness and creativity.
