The bay of Xàbia becomes the stage for the IV Regata Clásicos Comunitat Valenciana starting this Friday, a competition gathering over 30 historic vessels until July 26.

The event, organized by the Club Náutico de Jávea, has established itself as the only classic boat regatta in the entire Comunitat Valenciana. In this fourth edition, the race joins the XVI Trofeo Clásicos Mare Nostrum, becoming a scoring event for the 2026 Spanish Classic Sailing Cup.
Participation has grown significantly, attracting fleets from Portugal, Cádiz, and Barcelona. According to the organization, the competition brings together units ranging from the late 19th century to 1975, authentic nautical gems that require special maintenance.
The Xàbia regatta serves as a strategic stop on the national classic sailing circuit. After competing in Xàbia's waters, the fleet will head towards the Balearic Islands to continue the race calendar, which will conclude in Menorca.
