The incident occurred around 2 AM. The bull, described as very elusive, charged forcefully against the barrier, managing to break one of the bars with its head and horns. In this way, it managed to enter the 'ratera', the enclosure for spectators.
As a consequence of the bull entering the barrier area, a spectator watching the event sustained contusions. The man did not expect the animal to be able to access that space.
Following the incident, all installed barriers have been inspected to ensure safety and prevent a similar event from happening again.
