The Marina Alta region and the rest of the Valencian Community are experiencing a widespread drop in temperatures today following the recent heatwave.

After a few days of extreme heat, the mercury has begun to fall across the Valencian territory. In the province of Alicante, this drop is particularly notable in the Marina Alta, where the wind will tend to blow from the east starting at midday.
According to forecasts, some showers accompanied by storms could occur during the afternoon in the interior of the northern half, while a more stable situation will prevail in the rest of the areas. In the coastal waters of Alicante, the wind will be variable and the sea will remain with light swell, although moderate swell could be recorded in the north.
For Saturday, low clouds are expected during the morning on the Alicante coast. Temperatures will not experience significant changes compared to this Friday, and the wind will blow lightly from the north on the coast, tending towards the east from midday onwards.
