This edition involves the intervention of 34 new shutters, which will bring the total number of works spread across the town's streets to 105. The project, born in 2023 through the collaboration between the City Council, the Fundació Baleària, and the Associació Art amb B, seeks to integrate contemporary art into the everyday urban space.
The program includes the participation of 36 artists from various parts of the territory, including Fine Arts students from centers such as the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Miguel Hernández University in Altea. Furthermore, this year the inclusive aspect is reinforced with the collaboration of the Aprodesco association.
During the day on Saturday, October 3rd, the municipality will host complementary activities such as correfocs by the Dimonis de Santa Margalida, parades, traditional gastronomy, and painting workshops. The works will remain on the facades permanently, turning the historic centers of Setla, Mira-rosa, and Miraflor into an open gallery throughout the year.
