A serious accident involving two cars on the AP-7 highway near Ondara on Tuesday resulted in two severe injuries and one minor. The victims are a father and his daughter, both Luxembourg nationals, and a resident of Pedreguer.

The incident occurred around 7 AM near the Ondara exit of the AP-7 motorway. The collision between the two vehicles caused them to overturn multiple times, ending up upside down on the road. The impact caused significant material damage to both cars.
Firefighters from the Dénia station were quickly dispatched to the scene to carry out extrication efforts. A significant part of the operation focused on freeing the 21-year-old young woman from Luxembourg, who was traveling with her father.
After being stabilized, the three injured individuals were transported to Dénia Hospital for initial medical attention. Subsequently, the young woman was airlifted to a hospital in Valencia due to the severity of her injuries.
The Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante detailed that the operation remained active until the area was secured and the damaged vehicles were removed, thus allowing traffic to normalize on this stretch of the highway early in the morning.
