The celebration, organized by the Culture and Festivals departments along with various local associations, will primarily take place in a tent set up in the parking lot of Valencia Avenue. The event will kick off on Thursday, October 8th, with an afternoon gathering organized by the Festers 2027, featuring musical performances and a bar service with tapas.
On Friday, October 9th, the main day of the festivities, the program will begin at 9:00 AM with a wake-up call by the La Llebetjà band. Throughout the morning, children's workshops organized by the Associació de Dones and the Banda del Poble Nou are scheduled, along with inflatable castles for the younger ones. Additionally, the Cor Parroquial will present its traditional concert at 1:00 PM.
The tent will also host an exhibition of banners about October 9th, created by students from CEIP Santa Maria Magdalena with the collaboration of the AFA. The bar service, managed by Festers 2027, will also be open.
For the afternoon, a popular lunch of rice with beans and turnip is planned for 2:00 PM, organized by Festers 2027, with tickets priced at 10 euros. The day will continue with dancing accompanied by Toni Català, organized by the Associació de Jubilats, a popular snack from the Grup de Danses Morro Falquí, and the fun 'Canta-Cartons' to conclude the celebration.
