The Valencia Provincial Council has announced a grant exceeding 180,000 euros to the Llanera de Ranes Town Council. These funds will be used to upgrade the industrial park's water network and roadways.
The president of the Provincial Council, Vicent Mompó, met with the mayor of Llanera de Ranes, Antonio Vicente Lluch, to discuss investment projects in the town. Lluch emphasized the necessity of this aid, as the poor condition of the infrastructure was affecting the operations of the park's businesses, which are crucial for the municipality's development.
The industrial park's water network, serving around twenty companies, suffers from numerous leaks that reduce water efficiency and damage road surfaces. Ground saturation causes deformations and collapses under heavy vehicle traffic, leading to accessibility and road safety issues.
The planned works include repairing the water network, restoring roadways, and renewing the concrete surface in parking areas. According to Lluch, this investment will improve both water efficiency and traffic flow within the park.
This initiative marks a second phase of modernization for the park, following recent investments in roads, green spaces, hydrants, and signage. Mompó highlighted the Provincial Council's commitment to supporting towns, especially smaller ones, to foster their economic development.
During the meeting, other projects funded by the Pla Obert were also reviewed, including the renovation of public lighting (with 50,000 euros) and improvements to the integral water cycle, such as the potable water pipeline for the municipal cemetery.
Furthermore, the construction of a new sports center, estimated at 500,000 euros, was discussed. Llanera de Ranes has been allocated 883,000 euros from the Provincial Council this year, an increase of 92,000 euros compared to the previous legislative period.
