The Youth Department of the Silla City Council organized on Monday, October 27th, a new session of the PsicoJove program, focusing on family communication and aimed at adolescents and their families.

The session, titled 'Let's Open the Door to...', took place at the Espai Jove Silla and was attended by about ten parents and adolescents from the municipality. The activity followed up on a previous meeting focused on the family environment.
The event was structured into two distinct parts. The first addressed key aspects such as boundaries, rules, responsibility, communication, and conflicts related to the digital world, as well as autonomy and identifying warning signs. The second part delved into issues like consent in relationships, self-esteem, acceptance in adolescence, and the impact of youth aesthetic pressure.
Following the presentations, a highly enriching dialogue space was created where both adults and young people could exchange impressions, resolve doubts, and share their views on daily coexistence in an environment of trust and mutual respect.
This initiative is part of the Silla Acoge DANA project, subsidized by the Ministry of Youth, Childhood and Equality of the Government of Spain. The project includes various actions aimed at children and youth, such as psychological support, healthy leisure, and family support in the municipality.
