The agreement, pending formalization, will allow for the recovery of a fundamental sports facility for Paiporta, aiming to have a modern field, adapted to regulatory dimensions and ready to host competitions for various categories.
To make this project possible, a distribution study was conducted that utilizes the previous land and incorporates an additional strip of land on one side. The RFEF will provide the land previously occupied by the field, while the Paiporta City Council will cede the necessary additional surface area to achieve the planned dimensions of 105 by 63 meters, along with complementary spaces.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation will assume the financing and drafting of the technical project. For its part, the Paiporta City Council will be responsible for processing the tender and carrying out the contracting and execution of the works.
“"The recovery of El Palleter is a necessity for Paiporta and for all the people who live football in our municipality. We want the new facility to be not just a reconstruction of the field we had, but an opportunity to have a modern space adapted to current needs."
The mayor of Paiporta, Vicent Ciscar, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two institutions to recover the facility destroyed by the floods. Ciscar emphasized the solution for expanding the surface area, where the RFEF provides the land and finances the project, and the City Council the additional land, tendering, and execution.
With this agreement, the foundations are laid to promote a new sports facility that will allow the recovery of football activity and provide the municipality with a field adapted to the dimensions required for the regulatory practice of this sport.
