The event, attended by numerous residents and municipal officials, included the reading of a tribute text by the mayor, Vicent Ciscar, and the association Revivim. Subsequently, a wreath was laid on behalf of the entire town to keep alive the memory of those who lost their lives and to support their families.
The mayor recalled that, two years later, "the losses continue to hurt us and the wounds need time, care, and support." Ciscar highlighted the daily efforts of the City Council, associations, and citizens to recover infrastructure and services, as well as to address the emotional scars left by the catastrophe.
“"We have a common goal: to build a resilient, united, and safer Paiporta"
The mayor thanked the attendees for their presence and the involvement of the associative and neighborhood fabric in the recovery process. The event also remembered the victims of the recent railway accident in Toledo and their families, to whom Paiporta extended its solidarity.
