Artist Rafael Tormo Cuenca will lead the workshop titled «Deconstrucción de lo inabarcable» on Saturday, September 5th, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Casal Jove in Sedaví. This artistic project will use clay as a medium for collective creation, active listening, and reflection on the material, social, and political impacts of the DANA.
Through direct contact with the clay, participants will create pieces that do not aim to definitively represent what happened, but rather to open a shared process around memory, experiences, and the questions that remain after the catastrophe.
The initiative presents clay as a material laden with history and memory, proposing a reflection on the territory's fragilities and the ways the DANA has transformed the relationship with spaces and the environment.
The Sedaví City Council is collaborating on this initiative, reinforcing its commitment to generating spaces for culture, participation, and collective memory linked to the municipality's reconstruction process.
The workshop, supported by the Ministry of Culture, is free and open to all interested individuals, requiring no prior pottery experience, although pre-registration is necessary.
