The Generalitat has initiated the public participation process for the landscape integration study of the future road connection that will link the northern area of Mislata with Pío Baroja Avenue.

This infrastructure, which will cross the Turia riverbed, aims to offer a definitive mobility alternative for a municipality that has historically suffered from traffic problems at its access points. The action responds to a neighborhood demand that had been blocked for more than two decades.
Currently, roads such as Valencia-San Antonio street support a vehicle intensity that exceeds their capacity. This new axis seeks to divert through traffic, reduce noise and environmental pollution, and facilitate access in view of the future urban development of the northern sector and the opening of new health centers.

"The Generalitat is taking an important step for Mislata and for the entire metropolitan area of Valencia."

Vicente Martínez Mus · Regional Minister of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery
The route has been designed under environmental protection criteria to respect the surroundings of the Huerta de Valencia, the Turia Natural Park, the Rascanya irrigation ditch, and the Molí del Sol cultural heritage site. The project is supported by the Valencia City Council, as the access will relieve traffic pressure on the Nou d’Octubre bridge.
