The alert for the incident was received around 11:15 AM. SAMU units and a Basic Life Support team were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams treated the victims, who suffered from polytrauma and a contusion, respectively, before transferring them to La Fe Hospital in Valencia for specialized medical care.
The emergency response included the Provincial Fire Consortium, which deployed crews from the Torrent and Silla stations. According to service sources, one of the vehicles involved overturned on its side.
Firefighters had to intervene to extricate one person who was trapped inside the vehicle. The other occupant was able to exit the car on her own before the rescue teams arrived.
