Benetússer City Council has relaunched the multidisciplinary program 'En moviment' for its second season, aiming to promote healthy habits and physical exercise among its citizens.

Since early September, the council's Active Physical Exercise Unit (UAEF) has restarted this regional initiative, which began last May with 25 participants over 18 years old. The program collaborates with the local health center, which prescribes participation for patients who could benefit from the initiative.
'En moviment' is particularly aimed at individuals facing diverse personal circumstances, such as sedentary lifestyles, unwanted loneliness, or diagnosed chronic conditions like depression, diabetes, arthrosis, obesity, or hypertension. Following a health prescription, the trainer hired by the council designs an individual or group work plan tailored to each participant's needs.
Interested citizens can request more information at the health center's reception desk, located at Avenida Paiporta, number 29.
To assess the program's impact on users' health, three evaluations are conducted: an initial assessment before starting, a second analysis at three months, and a final measurement at six months. The ultimate goal is to improve adherence to physical exercise and integrate sports behavior as a consistent part of participants' lifestyles.
