The signing of the agreements, attended also by the Councilor for Tourism, Fran Evangelista, and the Councilor for Culture, Marta Murciano, reaffirms the municipal commitment to cultural development and the uniqueness of Alaquàs as a musical benchmark.
The first agreement includes a subsidy of 10,000 euros to support the annual activities of the Unión Musical de Alaquàs. This aid recognizes the association's fundamental role in disseminating music and bringing performances to a wider audience, thereby consolidating the municipality's cultural image.
The second agreement provides an allocation of 100,000 euros for the modernization of the ceilings in the main hall of the Auditori Nou. The works involve replacing the current panels with new aluminum-structured elements and updating the acoustic study, thereby improving the hall's sound performance with more efficient materials.
