Given the extension of the orange alert for rain in the municipality, which now lasts until 2 PM this Monday, October 19th, the Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) has decided to maintain several preventive measures until 3 PM.
Among the measures adopted is the suspension of academic activity in all educational centers, as well as all sports activities, both outdoors and indoors, and courses from the municipal sports program.
Also remaining closed with suspended activities until the same time are the Benàger Social Center, the Senior Day Center, the Camí Vell Social Center, Alaquàs Castle, Passatge Jove, the Play Centers (Ludoteques), the Educational and Open Center, the Municipal Training Center, the Youth Department and its scheduled activities, the Urban Forest, the Urban Gardens, the Paellers del Parc del Dijous, the Neighborhood Courts, the Terç and Bovalar Sports Centers, the Library, the Municipal Study Room, the Cemetery, and the Canine Recreation Areas (ZEC’s).
Furthermore, activities and events scheduled on the municipal agenda have been suspended until 3 PM. The public is urged to avoid unnecessary travel, both on foot and by vehicle, and to especially avoid parks, gardens, promenades, canine recreation areas, and underpasses.
