The objective of this initiative is to continue promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly transport. The Mayor of Alaquàs, Toni Saura, and the Councillor for Urban Services, Sebastián Ruiz, have overseen the reception of the vehicles.
The aim is to equip the Municipal Services with the necessary means. A two-seater vehicle with a closed box has been acquired for lighting, carpentry, and building cleaning. For construction services, a three-seater vehicle with an open box, equipped with a tipper and hydraulic crane, has been incorporated. The gardening service will have two three-seater vehicles with a tilting open box and mesh sides.
The forklift will be used to carry out repair, maintenance, and conservation work on parks and gardens, municipal buildings, and public roads using the City Council's own fleet. It will also be very useful for distributing materials for recreational and festive activities.
This new acquisition adds to the municipal fleet, which already includes eight electric vehicles and a forklift. The Alaquàs City Council plans to continue expanding this type of vehicle to reduce environmental impact.
