The Alaquàs City Council has publicly congratulated the Association of Conservators-Restorers of Spain (ACRE) for the National Award for Restoration and Conservation of Cultural Heritage 2026, granted by the Ministry of Culture.

This recognition was awarded to the project ‘Personal Memories and Heritages’, which successfully recovered over 300 heritage items belonging to families affected by the DANA storm on October 29, 2024.
The Alaquàs City Council, through the Mancomunitat de l'Horta Sud, joined this initiative to channel local requests and make them available to the recognized association and its professional team.
Thanks to this effort, families from Alaquàs have been able to recover heritage items such as antique furniture and a harpsichord.
