Rafelbunyol leads the transparency ranking for municipalities in the province of Valencia, according to the latest Dyntra assessment. The study, which includes 80 municipalities with over 5,000 inhabitants, highlights that the City Council meets 137 out of 184 analyzed indicators, achieving 74.46%.
This position represents a significant improvement from the previous classification, released in May, when Rafelbunyol ranked third provincially, tied with Gandia, with 117 indicators (63.59%). In the new publication, the city of Valencia ranks second with 133 indicators (72.28%), while Alaquàs is third with 111 indicators (60.33%).
The mayor of Rafelbunyol, Fran López, acknowledged the work of the municipal staff in publishing and updating information. "This result recognizes a collective effort," he stated. "Transparency makes sense when any resident can find, understand, and consult the public information they need. Having advanced 20 indicators since the May classification encourages us to continue improving".
Dyntra bases its evaluation on public information that can be located and verified on institutional websites and transparency portals. Its index is dynamic, meaning results can vary with index updates. The Rafelbunyol City Council has confirmed it will continue to review and enhance information accessibility for citizens.
