The Paterna City Council, in collaboration with local business associations, has concluded the fourth edition of the municipal 'Back to School' campaign, which has boosted local commerce during September, generating an economic impact of 240,000 euros.

The initiative, developed from September 1st to 30th, involved more than a hundred establishments and distributed 24,000 coupons among customers. These figures represent an increase of 2,000 coupons compared to the previous edition and an additional 20,000 euros in generated purchase volume.
Stationery shops, clothing stores, service providers, and small businesses joined this action, through which the council incentivized purchases for the start of the school year, continuing the local consumption drive initiated with the 'Bono Comercio' during the summer months.
“

"This very positive outcome demonstrates that campaigns like this clearly contribute to strengthening the local economy and have the support of citizens who trust in the quality, variety, and personal service of our establishments."

Lucas Jodar · Councilor for Commerce
For every 10 euros spent, customers received a coupon, with a maximum of five per purchase, to enter a raffle for five laptop computers. The entry slips could be deposited until October 1st at the Tourist Office, located at Calle Mayor, 3, and the draw took place on October 2nd.
Councilor Lucas Jodar highlighted that “from the City Council, we continue to promote initiatives that encourage families to shop in Paterna and allow their spending to directly benefit our businesses, generating activity and employment in the city.”
Finally, Jodar thanked the involvement of the commercial associations and participating establishments, “whose collaboration is fundamental to continue strengthening local commerce and reminding everyone that in Paterna we can find everything we need with proximity, trust, and personalized attention.”
To continue boosting and valuing the city's commercial fabric, this Thursday, October 22nd, at 8:30 PM in the Gran Teatro Antonio Ferrandis, the Paterna City Council will hold the III Local Commerce Awards Gala.
