Godella prepares festive October 9th with cultural and traditional events

The City Council of Godella has prepared a special program for the celebration of October 9th, Day of the Valencian Community, featuring cultural, traditional, and institutional events.

Activities will commence on Thursday, October 8th, with the Traditional Dansà organized by the Grup de Danses El Poblet. The event will take place in the Plaza de la Iglesia at 8:30 PM.
On Friday, October 9th, the celebration will begin at 11:00 AM with the lowering of the Royal Senyera from the balcony of the Godella City Hall, in collaboration with the Local Fallera Board. Subsequently, the Church of San Bartolomé will host the liturgy “Te Deum”, officiated by parish priest Rafael Pacheco.
At 12:00 PM, the band of the Casino Musical de Godella will offer a concert in the Plaza de la Iglesia, where tenor Pascual Vicent Andreu Navarro will perform the municipal anthem.
The program will continue at 2:00 PM with a minimascletà on C/Mayor, in front of the City Hall, fired by Pirotecnia Caballer FX. The day will conclude with the traditional popular paellas in Músico Francisco Caballer street.
