The festivities will kick off on Monday, August 24, on Xàtiva street with children's water activities from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by a traditional packed-lunch dinner and popular games at 9:30 PM. These events aim to combat high temperatures and foster community spirit.
Gastronomy takes center stage on Tuesday, August 25, with the Nit de les Paelles (Night of the Paellas) on Xàtiva street, requiring pre-purchased tickets. On Wednesday, August 26, also on Xàtiva street, another packed-lunch dinner will be held at 9:00 PM.
Evenings will be filled with music. On Wednesday, August 26, at 11:00 PM, Xàtiva street will host the macro-discomobile Remember 100.000W featuring DJ Cristina Ferrer. On Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 PM, the dance group Coppelius will perform, distributing horchata and fartons for children. The night continues with a popular sausage dinner (ticket purchase required) and a performance by the orchestra Screem starting at 11:00 PM, all on Xàtiva street.
Tradition unfolds on Friday, August 28, with the Moors and Christians parade at 7:00 PM, traversing València, Alicante, Jorge Juan, and Xàtiva streets. At 11:30 PM, Lepanto and Cervantes streets will host a grand evening festival with performances by Las Supremas de Móstoles and Manu Tenorio.
Events honoring Saint Barbara, the town's patron saint, will be prominent over the weekend. On Saturday, August 29, the morning will feature bell ringing and celebratory gunshots, followed by the traditional calderas (stew pots) on Xàtiva street at 2:00 PM. In the evening, the image of Saint Barbara will be paraded from the hermitage to the home of the Head Clavariesa on Lepanto street, accompanied by the Unió Musical de Moncada. The day concludes with the Nit d'Albaes (night of traditional songs).
Sunday, August 30, will focus on religious and pyrotechnic events. At 11:00 AM, the Head Clavariesa, Sara Segura, and the image of Saint Barbara will be collected from Lepanto street. At 12:00 PM, a solemn mass in honor of the patron saint will take place. Fireworks will be the highlight at 2:00 PM with a mascletà (firecracker display) in the Juzgados area. The festivities will conclude at 8:30 PM with a procession honoring Saint Barbara, followed by a fireworks finale.
