A fire declared in the Carraixet ravine, in L'Horta Nord, required the intervention of four air assets and several firefighter units for its extinction.

The extinction efforts for a forest fire in the Carraixet ravine, which started at 2:25 PM in the hamlet of Carpesa, have mobilized four air assets and four firefighter units. The fire spread to the area between the municipalities of Bonrepòs i Mirambell and Vinalesa, belonging to L'Horta Nord.
The Emergency Coordination Center activated Situation 0 of the Special Plan for Forest Fire Risk (PEIF) after receiving the alert of a scrubland fire within the ravine, which later extended to an adjacent area outside its course.
Institutional sources present at the scene have stated that the rapid action of the deployed resources has brought the fire under control.

"The first thing I did when I arrived at the fire scene was to send a photograph to the president of the CHJ. This cannot be tolerated. We have been demanding for a long time the cleaning of the riverbed to prevent fires like this."
