The Foios City Council has launched a project to revitalize the Local Council for Children and Adolescents (CLIA), aiming to establish it as a stable platform for citizen participation.

This initiative, funded by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Provincial Council of Valencia, seeks to solidify the CLIA as a permanent hub for engagement in the municipality's public life. Over the coming weeks, various sessions will be held to shape the council's identity and assess municipal spaces designated for young people.
A key action will be the community initiative 'Safe Paths'. This project aims to create safer and more accessible routes for the daily journeys of children and adolescents, incorporating their views to identify improvements in public spaces.
Concurrently, participatory workshops will be conducted in Foios's educational centers. The goal is to introduce participatory culture to more students, raise awareness of the CLIA, and encourage new children and adolescents to get involved in this representative forum.
