The staff of the IATA-CSIC participated today, September 22, in a collective action to celebrate World Car-Free Day and conclude the European Mobility Week.

With the aim of raising awareness about the negative effects of excessive private vehicle use in cities, members of the institute gathered at the entrance of the center. The activity served to highlight the more environmentally friendly commuting alternatives they regularly use to get to work.
Among the options highlighted by the staff are walking, cycling, using scooters, and public transport. This initiative is part of the actions promoted by the Sustainability, Wellbeing and Social Responsibility Committee of the IATA throughout the week.
