The Parc Científic de la Universitat de València (PCUV) is introducing an emotional wellness acoustic cabin, equipped with the Somia Bloom system from Valencian tech company yeshcube, to offer decompression breaks to its community.

The new service, launching as a pilot project, will utilize Somia Bloom, a system developed by yeshcube that combines sound and artificial intelligence to create brief, autonomous audio experiences focused on calm and emotional regulation. The cabin will facilitate individual sessions lasting 5 to 15 minutes, accessible free of charge to the Park's community and authorized visitors.
This marks the first implementation of Somia Bloom in a university science park, allowing for the study of its integration into the daily routine of a research and innovation environment. The pilot is a collaboration with IATecUV, the PCUV's Artificial Intelligence and Enabling Technologies incubator, and yeshcube, which is responsible for technological development and associated research.
Pedro Carrasco, director of the Science Park, emphasizes, “We want the Park's community to have a simple and accessible resource for taking a break during the workday within their own environment.” The goal is to provide value to individuals and generate knowledge about the use of such resources in a real-world context.
The cabin, manufactured by Actiu, features no screens or microphones. Interaction will occur via the user's smartphone, ensuring control, privacy, and ease of use. The unit will have a specific configuration to facilitate access for individuals with reduced mobility.
Mario Pérez, director of yeshcube, explains that “the balance between autonomy, privacy, and ease of use is an essential part of the service.” The pilot will analyze adoption, usage patterns, and perceived utility through voluntary questionnaires and the WHO-5 wellbeing index.
The project aims to evaluate the technology's integration into the workday, satisfaction, privacy, and intention to repeat use, always with aggregated and anonymized results. The service is not intended for clinical or diagnostic purposes.
The UV Science Park provides an ideal context for testing this technology, bringing together business activity, research, and innovation. The installation will allow observation of the service's use and utility under real conditions, building on previous experiences with acoustic cabins and conversational technologies.
The pilot results will inform improvements in user experience and support the international commercial deployment of Qyos Bloom, the cabins integrating Somia Bloom. The PCUV thus reinforces its role as a validation environment for emerging technologies from the Valencian innovation ecosystem.
