Alboraya closed the month of July with 561 new employment contracts, consolidating itself as an engine of employment in L'Horta Nord and recording the lowest unemployment rate since February 2007.

The labor market in Alboraya continues to show positive results, reducing the unemployment rate from its peak of 19.29% recorded in January 2013. During July, the town formalized 561 new employment contracts.
This figure is particularly relevant as more than half of the contracts are permanent (51.2%), and a significant percentage (39%) were formalized with young people under 25 years of age. With these results, Alboraya positions itself as the fourth municipality in L'Horta Nord for contract formalization.
These figures follow an exceptional June for the town in terms of unemployment, with an unemployment rate that dropped to 7%, the lowest since February 2007. At that time, there were 956 people seeking employment, with a population almost 5,000 inhabitants smaller than the current one.
