The project, linked to community health and XarxaSalut, has identified barriers to well-being and transformed detected needs into potential improvement lines. The sessions sought to gather daily experiences and promote closer attention.
The first meeting, held on July 13, 2026, at the Palau de la Senyoria, highlighted positive elements such as neighborhood support, Càritas, the health center, and municipal activities. However, difficulties related to income, employment, housing, and administrative procedures were also expressed.
The second session, on October 8, 2026, at Càritas, delved into possible responses, particularly in the labor field, material needs, and access to housing. The most prominent proposal was to study mechanisms to facilitate access to municipal job pools or hiring, followed by strengthening food distribution and clarifying available aid resources.
Difficulties in accessing affordable rent were also highlighted, along with proposals for improving social guidance and support, communication and service coordination, and assistance for housing damage caused by intense rainfall.
The contributions collected will form the basis for a recommendations document and a roadmap, which will be presented to the Intersectorial Health Table for feasibility assessment. The project is supported by a public health grant from the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Generalitat Valenciana for the year 2026.
