The Alfara del Patriarca City Council has activated an orange alert for this Sunday due to the forecast of intense rains and storms by AEMET, with possible accumulations of up to 300 l/m² in 24 hours.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts intense precipitation in the area, which could reach 300 liters per square meter in a 24-hour period. Given the difficulty in predicting the evolution of these phenomena, citizens are urged to maintain maximum caution and stay attentive to possible updates.
Among the recommendations issued, people are asked to avoid unnecessary travel, exercise extreme caution in flooded underpasses and areas at risk of flooding, and not to cross flooded areas or drive on roads with accumulated water. It is also requested to follow the instructions of emergency services and the official channels of the City Council.
For Sunday, and depending on the evolution of the storm, municipal services may carry out preventive actions on drainage covers. It is reminded that the manipulation of these elements corresponds exclusively to the competent municipal services, as it can pose an accident risk.
The City Council requests maximum caution and citizen collaboration, and informs that it will communicate any new developments through its official channels.
