Following last year's success, 'La Jaula ACB' returns to Valencia on October 6th, as part of the 2027 Copa del Rey de Valencia celebrations. This entirely free event aims to generate a Cup atmosphere in the city.
The Councilor for Sports, Rocío Gil, has encouraged citizens to attend this unique event, highlighting the "unbeatable" setting of the City of Arts and Sciences.
The basketball court and stands will be set up on the Assut esplanade, between the Ágora and the Science Museum. The day will kick off at 11:00 AM with the group stage, followed by elimination rounds in the afternoon. Prior to the finals, a slam dunk exhibition will take place.
The councilor stated that this event aims to showcase Valencia as "a city that breathes, lives, and fully enjoys top-tier basketball," warming up for the upcoming Copa del Rey.
Throughout the day, fans can enjoy a free spectacle combining men's and women's 3x3 basketball with musical performances, contests, exhibitions, and entertainment zones for all ages.
The event, supported by the Valencian Government and the Valencia City Council, anticipates the city's experience during the 2027 Copa del Rey.
