The València Provincial Council is organizing the First Forum of Provincial Councils for Tourism this Friday, September 25th, at the MuVIM. The event is part of the celebration of World Tourism Day, observed annually on September 27th under the promotion of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), this year themed ‘Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence for Redesigning Tourism’.
Over 30 municipalities and inter-municipal associations from the province of Valencia have prepared tourist experiences for all audiences throughout the weekend. According to the Deputy for Tourism and Sports, Pedro Cuesta, these initiatives allow for the analysis of the current and future tourism model, as well as active enjoyment of the municipalities.
The forum will bring together representatives from provincial councils, island councils, and municipal and tourism entities from across Spain to exchange knowledge and innovative experiences in the field of tourism.
Scheduled activities in the province include gastronomic tastings, exhibitions, workshops, guided tours of architectural heritage, hiking and cultural routes, adventure experiences, and wine and cultural tourism activities. Participants will receive a promotional souvenir from València Turisme, the provincial corporation's tourism brand, as a memento of this celebration.
