The second edition of the Solidarity Race will take place on November 8th along Valencia's Alameda promenade, aiming to highlight the challenges faced by individuals affected by ADHD, Lung Cancer, and Multiple Sclerosis.

The Municipal Sports Foundation has unveiled the official t-shirt for the second 'Solidarity Race', scheduled for November 8th in collaboration with the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation. The race will cover the stretch of Alameda promenade between the Flores and Exposició bridges. The councilor stated, “this event is a clear example of the solidarity power of sport: on November 8th, running will unite us around three charitable causes to continue making our city greater”.
This entirely solidarity-driven and charitable event seeks to raise awareness about the difficulties faced by people affected by ADHD, Lung Cancer, and Multiple Sclerosis. All proceeds from registrations and t-shirt sales will go towards research and social integration for patients of these three conditions.
The official charity t-shirt for the event can be purchased for €5 during the registration process, which is open until November 5th. The entry fee for the 5K race is €10, while the 2K March costs €5, and children's races are €3. A 'Dorsal 0' has also been set up for those wishing to contribute financially without participating physically, with options of €5, €10, €15, or other amounts.
The goal of the +16 ADHD Valencia Association is to “foster inclusion, understanding, and autonomy for individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)”, improving their quality of life through comprehensive support. Meanwhile, the research group in Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis at the La Fe Health Research Institute studies biomarkers and advanced techniques to enhance patient life, collaborating with the ACVEM and ADEMVA associations. Lastly, the AEACaP (Spanish Association of Lung Cancer Patients) promotes visibility and improved quality of life for individuals with lung cancer, advocating for their rights and advancing research.
The event will kick off at 9:00 AM with the start of the 5K race, followed by the March at 9:05 AM. The 2K March will begin at 9:30 AM, and children's races will commence from 10:20 AM onwards.
