The ceremony marked the end of the edition held in the capital of the Turia, which officially handed over the federation flag to the delegation from Perth, the city that will host the next event in 2030. The event included a parade of international delegations and speeches by representatives of the organizing committee.
The cultural program featured various live musical performances and DJ sessions. The day ended with a fireworks display by Pirotecnia Vulcano outside the sports venue.
Regarding the organization's assessment, the city's technical capacity to host the competitions was highlighted. However, the final day presented logistical difficulties in the pavilion, where the shortage of service points caused waiting times for attendees.
On the other hand, various groups have pointed out the limited presence of LGTBIQ+ symbols in the outdoor urban space and official facilities, noting that most of the activities took place in closed spaces.
