These theater venues, which will receive between €10,000 and €20,000 each, will have their programming subsidized by the municipal government. Beneficiary theaters and companies include names such as Carme Teatre S.L., L'Horta Teatre S.L., Teatre Patraix, Teatro La PlaZeta, La Màquina, Sala Russafa, Teatro Olympia, Teatro Talía, and Sala El Cabanyal, among others.
The grants primarily aim to subsidize performing arts programming in city theaters. Key aspects were considered when evaluating applications. These included the programming of Valencian companies and artists, the average number of performance days per week, the artistic quality, and the degree of innovation in the offered programs.
Furthermore, strategies for attracting and creating new audiences, the level of citizen participation in the venues, and the adoption of good practices in cultural management and programming were also assessed.
