The Violet Points, promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, have attended 2,746 consultations during the summer at festivals and concerts in the Community, mainly to provide information and advice on potential situations of sexual violence.

The autonomous secretary for Equality and Diversity, Asunción Quinzá, has highlighted the role of these professional services for attention, prevention, information, and support regarding sexual assaults. As she explained during a visit to the Violet Point at the Medusa Sunbeach Festival 2026, these spaces also carry out awareness-raising tasks and emergency coordination.
Quinzá emphasized that the Violet Points, established by the Generalitat, act as a deterrent against potential assaults. Professionals maintain constant coordination with the Security Forces and Corps, as well as with health and emergency services, to prevent incidents and respond effectively.
The regional official, accompanied by the Commissioner for the Fight Against Violence Against Women, Felipe del Baño, inquired about the attention and the informational and assistance resources available to the public.
The autonomous secretary stressed the importance of these devices in crowded venues, as they contribute to eradicating sexual violence through safe spaces that bring assistance resources to the street level. The aim is to enhance prevention and professional support in festive contexts with large crowds.
Quinzá reiterated that the goal is to improve protection and prevent assaults, ensuring that citizens can enjoy events safely, with respect, and free from violence.
This summer, the Violet Points were present at major musical events in the Valencian Community, including the Spring Festival, Big Sound Festival, Low Festival, Peligro Fest, Zevra Festival, and Latin Fest. They were also set up at large concerts in Valencia (Alejandro Sanz, Romeo Santos & Prince Royce), San Vicente del Raspeig (Dani Martín, The Black Crowes), and Alicante (Viva Suecia), among other large-scale events.
